Considering how much these boobs celebrate when they manage to knock out another season, they also love to make them longer than they need to be by covering each half of a two-part episode as a discrete episode even though they all air back to back at the start and/or end of the season. The close of Season 7 and start of Season 8 are, alas, no exception, though maybe they actually do need the extra acreage for (among other things): wildly speculating about why Jim and Cindy Walsh don’t show up for major events in their son’s life; permitting wild speculation about things they know about intimately, like whether Kathleen “Clare” Robertson’s exit from the show was her choice; going longer than anyone could possibly imagine on the lip color chosen for Donna to lose her virginity in; and, naturally, the latest indignities menopause is visiting upon Amy. Three episodes felt like six this month, but we listened for you; do not break our hearts by doing that yourselves!
