Joey and Bessie’s father Mike is out of prison, and he’s ready to start contributing to the family in ways he hasn’t been for the past three years (and, let’s be real, probably well before that). To start, he’s going to get The Icehouse a gig catering a wedding that weekend. We’re given to understand this isn’t something the restaurant has done even for a regular party, never mind a fancy one for snooty people. But sure, they can throw together a menu in days and just hire Joey and a bunch of her friends to be servers! There are a few problems: Andie doesn’t want to do it because she (improbably) hates weddings. Jen’s pouty that no one asked her to pitch in. Joey’s worried about her dad making his big return to town at such a high-profile event. And since Gale’s decided she wants Mitch back and they’re both attending the wedding as guests, it’s not great for her when he shows up with Miss Kennedy as his date. It’s not great for anyone when Dawson goes to check on the bride and she tries to get him to help jimmy the window open so she can flee the scene. How bad will this episode be for Joey? Not as bad as it is for Abby! We’ve brought you a perfect episode on “A Perfect Wedding”!
