With the PSAT behind SOME of them, the gang’s starting to think about what might happen for them after college. To that end: it’s time for a field trip to Boston! Dawson enters Witch Island into a local film festival, where volunteer Nikki (Bianca Lawson) puts his derivative ass in its place even before he finds out she’s also a student filmmaker, and a MUCH better one than he is. Joey signs up for a tour at an ancient yet curiously unidentified university, where her gender-neutral name gets her assigned to room with AJ (Robin Dunne), an obnoxious English TA who basically calls her a baby before crapping on her favorite book. Andie tries to camp out and jump the line to meet the Dean of Students even though she has an interview scheduled in a few months, forcing Mrs. Boyd (Marla Gibbs), his assistant, to perform the emotional labor of trying to get Andie to unclench for five minutes. And it turns out the Pink Pages are real, Jack has a copy, and he’s going to use it to explore Boston’s queer scene. This means something: that there’s a new podcast episode for you to enjoy!
