Late in Beverly Hills, 90210‘s third season, Shannen Doherty was making headlines for all the wrong reasons: accusations of tantrums on set, a hearty booing at the Billboard Music Awards, charges over a scuffle in a bar. Us Weekly and Entertainment Weekly were so concerned about her image that they put her on the covers of (respectively) their March 1993 and April 23, 1993 issues.
